WHY TRANSPORT SAFETY EXPO?

More people than ever are travelling by air, sea and land based public transport, with over 700 million users per day in Europe alone.

Our transport industries shift hundreds of millions of people by air, sea and land every day. This is achieved in both a safe and secure fashion for the most part, but every so often events conspire which lead to disaster.

The transport industries have witnessed their fair share of accidents during this past decade. The mid ocean loss of Air France flight 447, the Grayrigg rail derailment and the Costa Concordia foundering, have all resulted in substantial loss of life and force us to re-examine no less critical safety issues.

Such incidents serve to emphasise that safety across the transport networks remains of some considerable concern.

This combined with an increase in requests from visitors to Transport Security Expo to have a show dedicated to Transport SAFETY issues, has led us to launch Transport Safety Expo to meet this growing need in the market.

Transport Safety Expo will be co-located Transport Security Expo and will debut this November.
