Meet The Buyer
As part of a series of new initiatives for Transport Security Expo we introduced the ‘Meet the Buyer’ programme - to offer guaranteed face-to-face meetings with international buyers targeted with purchasing large scale contracts from within the Aviation, Maritime, Public Transport and Supply Chain markets.
We will running the Meet the Buyer programme for Transport Security Expo 2013.
HOW DOES MEET THE BUYER PROGRAMME WORK?
The structure for the day is simple:
Suppliers request meetings with buyers they would like to meet based on the buyer’s actual
purchasing requirements and spending levels
Buyers that apply to attend will be matched with exhibitors offering these products/services
One week before the event, exhibitors are sent an appointment diary stating who they are meeting
and at what time. We endeavour to schedule as many meetings as possible but on average we
expect to organise six meetings per supplier representative. Further meetings can be scheduled on
the day
Each private meeting is scheduled for 15 minutes. It’s amazing how even 15 minutes can be enough
time to get that first vital introduction, stimulate interest in the relevant product area or service, and
agree upon a course of action
