AVIATION SECURITY

  Support from the AOA (Airport Operators Association) who promoted the event to its membership
     of 68 airports across the UK

 DfT and ACI addressed the Aviation Security Conference alongside: Dedicated two day conference
    with GREAT LIVE DEBATES on: ‘Liquids & Gels’ and also ‘Outcom Focused Risk-Based Security’.

MARITIME SECURITY

 Expanded two day conference covering Port, Terminal, Container & Logistics Security, Protecting
    High Risk Cargoes and LNG security – with a GREAT LIVE DEBATE on the ‘Piracy Conundrum’

 Organised in association with NATO Shipping and the IMO (International Maritime Organization)

 Industry support for 2012 included: BIMCO, SAMI, ICS, BPA, UKMPG - delivering CSO’s and the
    industry’s leading heads of security from ports and shipping companies

PUBLIC TRANSPORT SECURITY

 Industry support for 2012 included: UITP, ITS and ATOC - promoting the event to an international
    network of over 3,500 public transport authorities and operators from 92 countries -  including all of
    the train operating companies within Britain’s National Rail network

 Expanded two day conference programme on Rail, Mass Transit, Underground and Bus Security
    with the GREAT LIVE DEBATE on ‘Cable Theft’ to include operators, regulators and law enforcement

SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY

 One of the industry’s leading associations ran their own conference alongside the event  that
    attracted an otherwise unobtainable audience. These were: TAPA (Transported Asset Protection
    Association) - attended by up to 150 members which included leading manufacturing brands and
    shippers such as Nike, Motorola and Procter & Gamble

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Last year’s Transport Security Expo attracted attendees from 68 countries. However, in the current economic market, UK export trade is more important than ever, so to continue attracting new international customers, Transport Security worked with UKTI inviting global procurement heads from key growth markets such as Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
