Transport Security Expo 2010 will host over 30 free-to-attend workshop sessions at the 2010 event, details of which are shown below.
DAY 1 - 14th September
SECURING CARGO - SPONSORED BY 
Cargo, whether it’s carried by land, sea or air, continues to be viewed in many circles as the Achilles Heel in the transportation security arena. In the past prime focus has been given to loss prevention through theft or damage, but cargo is nowadays seen as the Trojan Horse through which those with harm in mind might successfully infiltrate the system. This must attend workshop outlines the threat and the available solutions to the vexed question of how best to secure the cargo channel
PERIMETER SECURITY & INTRUSION DETECTION
Perimeter security remains the least visible but by no means least important aspect of the security regime protecting transport hubs. Public facing security measures are rendered ineffective without the application of robust perimeter security systems and processes. This key workshop explores the technology supporting effective perimeter security and best practice techniques to ensuring an impenetrable barrier between public and private zones.
